Dr. Jennifer Chirico Participates on Zero Waste Panel for Maui County Council

Sustainable Pacific believes that sustainability is about working to find solutions that meet the quadruple bottom line: economy, environment, society, and culture. Global zero waste initiatives have shown that turning waste into resources can help communities and businesses decrease their environmental impact while also saving money in the long run. To support this effort on Maui, Sustainable Pacific’s president, Dr. Jennifer Chirico, served on a Maui County Council Zero Waste Panel this week to support Maui’s efforts in working toward zero waste strategies.
